Married to the Mob

A vibrant and colorful comedy awash with trendy pop music, cool ethnic types and hip American iconography. The very engaging Pfeiffer stars as a "mob" widow who sets out to leave "the family" behind her. But her late husband's boss has other ideas about it, and goes to great lengths to let her know it. Into her life comes FBI agent Modine, who thinks she has yet to sever the umbilical, and sees a chance to nab the nefarious don -- by romancing the frustrated widow. Stockwell gives a hilariously sleazy performance as the don and Ruehl is terrific as Stockwell's maniacally jealous wife.
