Attractive opposites Nicole (Hart) and Chase (Grenier) are next-door neighbors and seniors in high school. When their respective partners dump them before the big centennial dance, Nicole and Chase pose as a couple to win back their true loves. Of course, while they "scam" everyone with their act, the pair end up falling for each other. Though the plot is clichéd and contrived, it's given some degree of freshness thanks to the two leads. Hart is kinda adorable as the perky go-getter, while Grenier is endearing as the social outcast who bonds with the in-crowd.
