Dean plays the good psychiatrist Mumford who has moved to a town called... Mumford. There he shows an incredible ability to help people with their problems, most notably a chronic fatigue sufferer (Davis) with whom he somewhat unethically falls in love. Add to that Mumford's secret, one which threatens his practice and new life. A quirky little comedy.
