Controversial police thriller with Rourke as a New York City police captain assigned to the Chinatown district to keep peace among the neighboring gangs. Once there, however, he comes in conflict with a local underworld boss (Lone). Oliver Stone wrote the screenplay which relies heavily on violence and police actioner clichés.
