Griffith gives an enchanting performance in this "Cinderella" comedy set against the wheeling and dealing of Wall Street. Griffith plays a secretary who masquerades as her absentee boss (Weaver) when her employer steals a business idea from her. Part social satire, part love story, the film traces Griffith's successful business charade and her romance with a handsome associate (a restrained Ford).
