A decidedly different love story which traces the roots of identity, relationships and life on the edge. Brown stars as a former activist who meets Davis, a junkie hooker who becomes obsessively attached to him. Ms. Davis' incandescent performance is a tremendously moving portrait of misplaced desire and self-abuse. One of the finest films that came out of the Australian New Wave.
