Winter Kills is a rare example of a film so wild, so utterly rambuncious and so bursting with invention that it defies description. Bridges is the sole innocent searching for clues to the decade-old assassination of his half-brother, a Kennedy-esque president. What he uncovers is a murky mass of conspiracies and the mammoth excessiveness of his tyrannical father (a hilariously obscene Huston). Don't miss this cynical swipe at the unravelling threads of the Stars and Stripes.
