REVIEW
Weekend at Bernie's is tasteless, sophomoric, and funny. McCarthy and Silverman are young corporate go-getters who get invited to the boss' palatial oceanfront home for the weekend -- to be murdered. But the tables are turned, and it is Bernie who gets his. Only problem is, the body keeps popping up everywhere and no one seems to recognize the fact that Bernie is dead. Things get even more complicated when the boys think they're next, and to save themselves, they must make it look like Bernie is really alive. "Masterpiece Theatre" it's not. It's not even The Trouble with Harry. But it is for undemanding comedic tastes. Editor's Suggestions
