Altman's enjoyable follow-up to his acclaimed Nashville utilizes the same multicharacter collage which earmarked his classic film. Two very diverse families come together for a ritzy, upper-class wedding, revealing family skeletons and hidden passions, among other things. Burnett heads a very strong ensemble cast.
