REVIEW
The entire Brady clan -- yes, those vapidly naïve family values icons stuck in the loud polyester world of the '70s -- returns in this equally skewering sequel. While some of the innovative satire of the first film may seem overly familiar the second time around, it should not stop anyone from enjoying this cutely funny and at times madcap spoof of the old TV sitcom. The plot revolves around the return of Carol's (Long) long-thought-dead husband (Matheson), who steals a valuable ancient horse statue (yes, the same one that was prominently displayed in the TV show). He then kidnaps the perky Mrs. Brady and takes her to Hawaii -- with the loudly clothed, off-key, sing-songing Bradys in hot pursuit. Plenty of sexual innuendoes, eye-poppingly loud (but groovy) threads and shamelessly mindless fun should divert both old TV fans and newcomers alike. Editor's Suggestions
