Trojan Eddie

Nicknamed for the Trojan van in which he travels, Eddie (Stephen Rea) is a hustling ex-con lackey to a larcenous, brutal mobster (Richard Harris) who rules a group of gypsy travelers. Unlucky in love and life, Eddie comes alive only when he's selling his boss' contraband, ranging from the "Rolls-Royce of Vans" to far more dangerous wares. Fate throws Eddie a curve when the aging kingpin chooses to take a child bride, with Eddie acting as the hapless go-between. Not surprisingly, the wife-to-be has a few ideas of her own which set off a chain of betrayal, infidelity and murder.
