The Tie That Binds

This worthless wreck of a movie attempts to make a statement about contemporary child-rearing but succeeds only in being a lesson in how to make a terrible film. Spano and Kelly adopt a mysterious little girl. When they decide to check into her birth parents' background, they discover Carradine and Hannah, a part-time serial killer and his psychotic white-trash/hymn-singing wife, who've decided to retrieve the little girl. The plot rehashes every "psychotic (nanny-policeman-tenant) from hell" movie, and the dialogue is ludicrous.
