It's the early 1960s: The Vietnam War is still called a police action, the hippies are just gathering in San Francisco, Watts is on fire and the class of '65 is spending their last night together. Mulroney, Schroder (who gives a surprisingly moving portrait of a young man about to depart for war) and Wyle are a group of friends who must deal with their impending separation and the changes both they and their country are experiencing. Poignant and achingly nostalgic.
