Sour Grapes

REVIEW
Writer David flogs his dead "Seinfeld" horse in his disappointing directing debut. While David's usual sharp (and exceedingly bitter) dialogue and situations are present, the pacing is leaden, and poor timing makes the jokes crash and burn. Weber mimics Seinfeld as he and Bierko do their best to be as unlikable as possible. The creaky premise involves slot machine winnings and much coincidence; David seems to be taking funny situations and desperately trying to cram them into a plot.
