REVIEW
The beginning of director De Palma's sometimes overwhelming display of technical wizardry, this (dare we say it?) Hitchcockian tale follows the crisscrossing path of twin sisters (one good, one evil, both played by Kidder) and a reporter (Salt), who thinks she has witnessed a murder (shades of Rear Window). Scathing in its treatment of society as a breeding ground of thrill-seeking voyeurs, this appetizing but deadly serving of sibling rivalry is more than just another "evil twin" hors d'oeuvre.
