SKINOPSISDon't think of it as Spike Lee's first film, think of it as the first time you saw the gargantuan breastmeat of Ms. Tracy Camilla Johns who repeatedly lets those big ol' things out while she gets whatever it is she has to have. For us, though, the highlight comes when she's only alone and about to shove a finger or two into her moistening tunnel and she slowly (and sexily) rubs those udderly fantastic jugs. Sometimes alone time is the best time of all. -- Rick Stanko
REVIEW
Lee's inspired and raucous comedy about Nola Darling and her three boyfriends: Mars -- "Please baby, please baby, baby, baby, please"; Jamie -- "Wherever you want to go, I'll go, whatever you want to do, I'll do"; Greer -- "Am I not beautiful darling?" This miraculous cinematic achievement was put together on a shoestring budget and shot over a period of 11 days in a two-square block area of Brooklyn, and yet it stands as one of the funniest and most poignant statements to date on a woman's sexual freedom and how it affects the men in her life.
