This unconventional sex comedy centers on the premise of what if you convince your wife to have a ménage-a-trois and she likes it so much you find yourself sleeping on the couch? Slow to take off, hurt by writer/director/star Binder's weak character Marty -- sort of a George Segal meets Woody Allen mensch -- as well as its static made-for-TV-like pacing and cinematography, it is saved by Hemingway in a subtly hilarious performance as Marty's quietly contented wife Laura whose libido is set afire after she reluctantly agrees to allow another woman in bed with her and her husband. Before one can spell out Sapphic, the blonde Laura is seducing just about every woman she meets -- and the gals aren't complaining! Laura's long pent-up lesbian desires explode into a frenzy of kisses, grinding and other oral pleasuring. And all of this action leaves poor Marty the odd man out. A pleasant and quite funny sex romp suitable for both leering heterosexual men and Hemingway-loving lesbians.
