On the run from the law, desperate drug runner Astor (Morales) and his beautiful prisoner struggle through the savage heat and are offered a ride by two unsuspecting travelers. Claiming to be illegal aliens looking for a better life in America, Astor and his captive draw the innocent travellers into a dangerous world controlled by the ruthless drug lord El Rojo (McConaughey)...and the time has come for all of them to meet their fate.
