The Outside Man

It's killer vs. killer in this dated actioner about a sad-eyed assassin (Trintignant) who finds himself at the wrong end of a gun when his latest employer (Dickinson) embraces the philosophy that "dead men tell no tales." Scheider gives another surefire performance as the hit man whose credo is "there's no honor among thieves," and Ann-Margret is on target as the helpful floosie whose philosophy is "leave it to cleavage."
