Operation Condor 2: Armour of the Gods

This is actually the 1990 film Armour of God, which was followed by Operation Condor: Armour of God 2 in 1991. But since the latter was released first in the U.S., the former is now being marketed as the sequel! Regardless, there's no reason to feel bamboozled: this is classic Jackie, in Indiana Jones mode (just like its predecessor/follow-up), with a slew of terrific stunts, exciting action scenes and riotous comedy. Highlights include an exhilarating fight with four leather-clad, tough-as-nails women, and the de rigueur end-credits outtakes, where we witness the stunt-gone-wrong which almost cost Chan his life. Nicely directed by Jackie, this is one of his best, an extremely accomplished crowd-pleaser. (Dubbed)
