REVIEW
A hilarious, lightning-paced (this may be the fastest comedy since Howard Hawks' His Girl Friday) political farce from director Wilder, made during the heyday of the Cold War. Cagney -- who would not make another film for 20 years -- is in top form as the harried Coca-Cola executive stationed in West Berlin who must contend with card-carrying Commies, ex-Nazis and Southern belles when the boss' daughter secretly marries a young Communist. All this and Pepsi-Cola, too.
