REVIEW
Though they exude great charm and have a wonderful chemistry between them, Pfeiffer and Clooney just aren't able to give an added boost to this convoluted romantic comedy which is short on both romance and comedy. They play divorced parents who come together when their children miss the class trip. Each having a professional crisis looming, they take turns babysitting both kids. Of course, they're antagonistic in the beginning, but soon they succumb to each other's magnetism. This losing battle-of-the-sexes does on occasion please, but it's due more to Clooney and Pfeiffer's rapport than any screenplay manipulation. They'd probably be better matched the next time Catwoman and Batman meet. Editor's Suggestions
