When the psychosexual desires of young girls come out in their dreams, the result is a blood-crazed apparition with razor sharp, phallic-like talons. This is surely one of the most frightening films of the 1980s, due primarily to its inventive premise of this villain literally escaping from the victims' minds, rather than from the local insane asylum. (Followed by 6 sequels)
