The comings and goings of three strangers who time-share a New York apartment without meeting sets the stage for an amiable comedy of convenient coincidence -- i.e., light on convincing plot, heavy on funny lines and scenes. Broderick delivers a droll yet engaging performance as a heartbroken would-be gourmet chef. Sciorra as a semi-happily married dental hygenist, and Anderson as a loutish, immature stockbroker are his roommates.
