A dated but intriguing drama about four professional criminals and their "foolproof" kidnapping scheme that goes horribly wrong when fate and human nature conspire against them. As the leader of the group, Brando (obviously in the middle of a bad hair day) drinks heavily from the method acting well, and is outshined by Boone, who gives a splendid performance as a sadistic psychopath.
