SKINOPSIS

Faye Dunaway briefly lets her great tits out in this scathing critique of the television industry.
REVIEW
A boisterous, brilliantly savage satire on television, America's fickle viewing habits and the corporate mentality. Paddy Chayevsky's scathing script is given extraordinary life by a remarkable cast to tell the story of the rise of a fourth network. Finch won an Oscar as the weary newsman who loses his sanity and becomes a guru; Dunaway also won an Oscar as the ruthless news department head whose aphrodisiac is high ratings. Holden gives a tremendous performance as the ex-department chief, who impotently witnesses the craziness around him. Straight won a Supporting Oscar as Holden's neglected wife. An original and breathtaking masterwork.
