REVIEW
A by-the-books but competently made thriller which suggests that there's more shenanigans going on in the White House than seances and shredding parties. Snipes plays a D.C. homicide detective investigating a murder in the White House who is up against constant interference from Secret Service chief Benzali and staff, including Lane -- who eventually becomes Snipes' ally. There are a couple of unpredictable twists and a few red herrings, but director Little seems more concerned with chases and the rudiments of the action film than laying the foundation for a good mystery.
