The energy, excitement, innocence and eventual demise of the hippie/youth movement of the '60s is wonderfully captured in Schroeder's first film. The story is a tender tale of a West German student who travels across Europe -- from the cafes of Paris to the sun-drenched beaches of Ibiza -- searching for love and adventure. Schroeder provides a definitive image of this improbable era where peace, revolt, sex, drugs and rock ’n' roll reign supreme. The soundtrack features great music by Pink Floyd. (English and French, German and Spanish with English subtitles)
