REVIEW
Money Train is an actioner/heist movie which doesn't deliver on either aspect. With a contrived screenplay which rarely makes sense, mugging from its two stars, and a misrepresented plot development, about the only thing this has going for it is its impressive location shooting and the occasional chemistry of Misters Snipes and Harrelson. They play transit cops (and foster brothers) who work for the New York City transit system. In between their undercover assignments (which are actually the most interesting segments of the film), they talk of robbing the "money train" (the payroll car), and the plans for such are set in motion. The two actors demonstrate none of the comic zing from White Men Can't Jump, though due in large part to the silly dialogue they are forced to scream at one another.
