An exquisite-looking period drama set against the backdrop of the Paris art scene of the 1920s. Carradine, Fiorentino and Lone are American expatriates who become involved in romantic intrigue as well as an art forgery scam. Bujold steals the film as an art dealer, and O'Connor makes a splendid Hemingway.
