Mr. Destiny

This modern-day It's a Wonderful Life stars Belushi as Larry Burrows, a 35-year-old Average Joe who's down on his luck. Along comes Mr. Destiny (Caine) in the guise of a bartender with an attentive ear. He slips Larry a magic potion which allows him to see how his life would have turned out if he'd managed to hit the ball in that fateful little league game 20 years earlier -- in reality he had struck out, of course. Despite its total predictability, the film still holds a certain charm and is mildly entertaining.
