Memoirs of an Invisible Man

You'd think Hollywood would have learned by now. There hasn't been a really good "invisible man" movie since the original Claude Rains thriller in 1933. Chase stars as a San Francisco businessman who falls asleep during a business meeting and thanks to a neighboring nuclear fusion accident, wakes up invisible. And to make matters worse, he's got CIA heavy Neill after him. Some good special effects and visual humor help hide a transparent plot, though director Carpenter seems more interested in playing politics than creating a definitive "invisible" comedy.
