Making Mr. Right

The ingredients for this film sure seemed right: Malkovich and offbeat comic Magnuson starring in Seidelman's follow-up to Desperately Seeking Susan; what could go wrong? Well, just about everything, but the real tragedy here is the script. Magnuson plays a P.R. expert who is hired to help develop a human image for Chemtech Corporation's new android (Malkovich), but ends up clashing with the android's creator (also Malkovich) when she falls in love with the machine.
