REVIEW
Looks like a case of an older brother trying to keep up with a younger sibling. After Charlie Sheen's spoofing of Tom Cruise in Hot Shots, Estevez takes on the lighter side of Mel Gibson in this amiable spoof. Jackson joins him as the other half of the Lethal Weapon team. The film is perhaps a little too self-aware and does not have the rapid fire-delivery of some of the more successful films in this genre, like The Naked Gun series. However, even though it doesn't go far enough, the film does provide some serious chuckles at the expense of the Gibson/Glover team. (aka: National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1) Editor's Suggestions
