REVIEW
Franz Liszt, classical composer, gets the full treatment from Russell in this outlandish visual and sexual assault on historical accuracy and biographical detail. The presumption is that Liszt was a precursor to the rock superstars of today and in unabashed Russell fashion, he turns this into a garish, psychosexual extravaganza. Daltrey brings a certain Adonis-like quality to his role as Liszt, but Starr as the Pope is heresy in anyone's book. You Might Also Like
