SKINOPSISY'know people gave this movie a lot of shit when it came out, but we have no idea why. Sure, it's really trashy, but trashy in the best way possible. We mean, c'mon, nude Angie Everhart is nude Angie Everhart whether she's supposed to be dead or not. Plus, Linda Fiorentino would be wankable even is she were wearing a goddamn parka, but the skinsploitation gods grace us with her ass all over the place and her tits in a grainy sex video. Plus, we don't fucking care what people say: the car chase where they run over half of Chinatown is awesome. -- Rick Stanko
REVIEW
Basic Instinct meets Jagged Edge in this worthless and uninspired outing from the author of both better films, Joe Eszterhas. Fiorentino plays the wife of a high-powered defense attorney (Palminteri) who becomes the prime suspect when a wealthy politico is murdered during an act of kinky sex with an unknown femme fatale known only as "Jade." Caruso plays the cop/ex-lover determined to get to the bottom of it all. Friedkin's thriller is a well-mounted but raucous mess, with action sequences that far outshine the ridiculous screenplay.
