SKINOPSISStupid Hollywood! Why is the best skin in a Hollywood movie always from the chick you've never heard of. Faye Grant gives up a great shot of her pair while she talks on the phone and fucks Richard Gere (now that's what we call multitasking.) Nancy Travis gives a pretty good look at one of her tits, but the view of Annabella Sciorra's is obscured that it barely counts. -- Rick Stanko
REVIEW
Brutally realistic violence, potent acting and intense psychological gameplaying combine to make this tough cop thriller a thoroughly engaging psychological thriller. Gere sinks his teeth into the role of a decorated but menacingly corrupt cop who locks horns with Garcia, an internal affairs officer assigned to investigate wrongdoing on the L.A. police force. Garcia, a tightass "good cop" is teamed up with a lesbian partner (Metcalf) as they attempt to untangle a trail of payoffs, extortion and murder, all leading to the increasingly deranged and dangerous Gere.
