Indiscreet (1998)

In this lukearm thriller, Parry is Michael Nash, an ex-cop, ex-alcoholic turned private investigator. Offered a job by a rich lawyer to spy on his unfaithful wife Eve (Reuben), Nash discovers that she is not having an affair, but spending her days alone drinking and skinny dipping. Rescuing Eve from a suicide attempt one afternoon, these two damaged people begin a passionate romance that cools off when her husband is murdered. Of course, Eve is the sole benificiary of her husband's $75 million will, and Nash, who helped her cover up the crime, is the prime suspect. Although Indiscreet is a good looking production that is filled with as many plot twists as it has plot holes, the film offers nothing new to the suspense genre. As the cop investingating the crime, Coyote injects the film with some life, but sadly, it is not enough.
