This Big Chill-like comedy reunites seven old friends who attended Camp Tamakwa during its "golden age" in the early '70s. Invited back to their old stomping grounds by camp owner Arkin, the friends get to work out some of their demons and share old secrets. Especially engaging are Lane as Bethy, a woman whose husband (and camp sweetheart) died in a car crash the year before, and Paxton, who as the rebel of the bunch got kicked out of camp one summer for mysterious reasons. With warmth and humor, Indian Summer brings back the sights, sounds, smells (oh, those smells), first kisses and first heartbreaks of summer camp. Based on director Binder's own experiences.
