A successful anchor/reporter for a "60 Minutes"-type news show -- played by an engaging Finney -- and a wonderful strong cast strive for hidden truths and higher ratings. Finding that these goals don't often coincide, The Image explores TV's role in creating a public's viewpoints and the pitfalls of making oneself a marketable product. A bit of stale New Age music and a somewhat preachy climax are the only drawbacks to this thought-provoking and enjoyably charming HBO production. You Might Also Like
