Based on a true story, this sometimes funny, hit-or-miss black comedy is about a wife who discovers her husband is cheating on her and attempts to murder him -- repeatedly. Kline gives a funny performance as the philandering husband. As the wronged wife, Ullman is given very little to do, and the talented comedienne is wasted. Hurt and Reeves are in alien territory as the hit men.
