A funny screwball romp about a woman who, through a web of lies and deceits, squirms her way into the life of an unsuspecting architect with side-splitting results. It's a plot which is vaguely reminiscent of classics like Bringing Up Baby and Ball of Fire. Of course, Hawn, admirable a job though she does, can never be compared to the great Kate, and Martin is certainly no Cary Grant; but still, the film's outrageous humor and situations give these two modern-day comics plenty of good material to make for a thoroughly enjoyable laugh fest.
