Highlander: The Final Dimension

Director Morahan should have applied the Highlander credo, "There can be only one," to the making of sequels and not served up this totally inept and unsatisfying conclusion. Lambert reprises his role as the centuries-old swordsman who must now face a recently unearthed immortal (Van Peebles in an undisciplined performance). Offscreen beheadings, major plot holes and a totally gratuitous subplot about an old flame reincarnated as an antiquitites expert (the fetching Unger) make this rehash about as ridiculous as it sounds.
