Gross stars as a nerdish hotel clerk who fancies himself a trendy big-wig. Telling fellow workers of his famous (albeit ficticious) associations with celebs, he's put to the test when one of them shows up at the hotel. She's a model with secrets of her own -- one of them being that she's a murderess. Too bad she didn't take aim at the script. Director-writer Spencer tries to create a frantic farce in the mistaken identity, door-slamming tradition; what he gives life to, however, Dr. Frankenstein wouldn't lay claim to.
