REVIEW
Instantly forgettable yet strangely enjoyable while it lasts, this phantasmal comedy about a racist cop who is befriended by a congenial black ghost is the perfect example of the "concept" idea of screenwriting. Hoskins, at his gruffest and most lovable, is a down-at-the-heels cop who suffers a heart attack. Washington is the recently deceased man who spectrally returns to earth after his heart is transplanted into Hoskins' body. The two form an unlikely team as they attempt to track down Washington's drug-lord killers.
