Hear No Evil

Matlin stars in this insipid thriller as a deaf aerobics instructor who inadvertently becomes involved in a murderous robbery scheme. It seems one of her clients, investigative reporter McGinley, picks up a scoop about a stolen coin worth a million dollars. And the police department of Portland, Oregon, has a rotten apple in the form of sergeant Sheen, who's involved in the heist. Sheen and his cronies then terrorize everyone in sight, and Matlin becomes the object of the bad guy's ire. Director Greenwald can't decide whether he's making a thriller or a music video as he inserts several numbers which completely break the tension.
