Director Wincer makes a valiant effort, but this tale of two outlaw misfits who join forces to save a neighborhood bar from greedy developers is lost in a whirlwind of lackluster performances, overblown action sequences and an undernourished script. Hard-core Rourke fans might enjoy this oddity -- others beware.
