This English comedy about a man's sexual and emotional awakening is a surprisingly touching and consistently funny coming-of-age film. Gavin Lamb (the perfectly cast Birdsall) is a slightly awkward but handsome 31-year-old London hairdresser who lives at home and dreams of one day losing his virginity. In a whirlwind two weeks his structured life is shattered when he is thrown into the arms, and beds, of three very different women.
