Eastwood is cop Ben Shockley who thinks he is escorting an ordinary witness (Locke) back to Phoenix for a trial. But he soon finds there are plenty who want to stop her from testifying against an organized crime family. A flavorful, exciting action tale nicely handled by director and star Eastwood.
