Futuresport

In 2015, professional basketball is disbanded due to scandal. It is replaced by, no, not BASEketball, but by a violent mix of rollerball, skateboarding and hockey. Ten years later, it is the country's favorite sport, and Cain is its favorite player. Meanwhile, in Hawaii, the revolutionary group Hawaiian Liberation Front is fighting guerrilla warfare. How these two factions meet makes up Futuresport, an entertaining, well-made futuristic actioner made for TV. The subplot about the revolutionaries is sometimes confusing, but the scenes of futuresport are exciting, and the film doesn't drag during its non-action sequences.
